I have a few geeky tendencies. I love electronics, the outdoors and grilling. So when I saw this on Design Milk I knew what was heading to the top of my birthday wish list.
The Biolite Camp Stove.
Yes that is a USB charging station. It uses the wasted heat from the fire and turns it into electricity to charge your devices while you cook.
Add with this the New Portable Grill attachment and you have a next level cooking experience for all the Techno-Campers out there.
At $129 for the stove and $59 for the Grill it isn’t cheap, but as a birthday present I don’t have to worry about such things.
Also with some of the proceeds from the stove goes to help fund the launch of the HomeStove, which could help get clean energy into the hands of those that need it most.
